I have a beautiful long haired cat that isn't technically mine, but I take care of (long frustrating story). We just cut him for the summer and this time he seems to have black patches, clearly not normal. He was matted around those areas and when you touch the area, his whole back spasms, they are in random places...his skin doesn't look black underneath...wish I could post a picture..East coast U.S.. we noticed then after shaving him, he's about 12 yrs old
