Golett (mostly) unaffected by Sparkling Power Lv.3: Ground Donuts?
TL:DR; resetting for shiny Golett for over 1000cal / ~800 resets using sparkly lv3 and only 1 shiny which was forced? Are Golett unaffected by donut?
Decided to do a bit of shiny hunting via Hyperspace and Sparkling Power donuts today and the 2nd I made gave the following bonuses:
- Sparkling Power Lv.3: Ground types
- Humungo Power Lv.2
- Catching Power Lv.1: Grass types
(You can see these in top left, under timer)
Found a Ground type hyperspace zone containing Golett, Sandile, Diggersby and decided to use the donut on this one. As you can see, the top/first task was to catch a shiny and it happened to be incredibly easy to complete, as it was one of the Golett right infront as soon as I spawned in. Caught it, completed the other tasks, got all the floating PokéBalls including Golden. Went straight into fly-resetting for Golett as it was/is my primary target.
Been resetting for about 1.2k Cal, at a rate of ~ 1 reset per ~ 1.2 calories. Yet to get another shiny!?
Any ideas on what could be going on? There are no other mons in range. And the Golett are definitely resetting as the alpha depicted in the image isn't permanently there and levels change. I understand I'm only resetting 4 mon. However, I just used a similar donut but with Psychic types and same amount of spawns at a further distance and got 4 in the same window of time.
