So I turned 18 this month and I'm ready to get my first tat. I know many people advise to wait till a little later in life but I've been waiting years for this so I don't see myself regretting it.
I want to dedicate the tat to my Dad who passed away a few years back but I don't know what to get and I was wondering if anyone on here could think of any cool designs. I want it to be personal to him, I'm not sure if it should include any of his interests, I don't know a whole lot of them but I know he loved family guy, techno music and woodwork. (He was a pretty talented carpenter.)
Another idea I had is that it could include memories I had of him, I remember he always took me to play football in the field out back of our house, we went to McDonalds together pretty regularly and he always bought me kinder eggs ha.
I'm not sure if I should go with a single tat or a half sleeve, I do know that I want a sleeve at some point but I'm not sure if I should get one straight away.
Anyway sorry for the long post, I wanted to go into as much detail as possible so you could get the picture. Hope this is alright to ask on here but since I have no experience with tattoos I thought I'd better ask the people who do.
