Think about it.
We've never been able to beat Boston in a series. It would be the absolute most Sixers thing in the history of Sixers things to finally beat Boston when absolutely no one gave us even the slightest chance of doing it. In a series where Joel missed the first 3 games, and played poorly in his first game back. In a series where pretty much everyone expected, at best, a gentleman's sweep.
Winning it in those circumstances would be the most hilariously Sixers thing ever.
Then, of course, the go on to lose in the second round, but Nurse keeps his job, so does Morey, because we beat the Celtics. So we run it back with Oubre, Drummond, Grimes and the rest, cementing it as the most Sixers outcomes imaginable.
