Hey everyone,
I'm trying to sell my house and one of the items that the buyer is wanting repaired/replaced is in the crawl space. I'm guessing that someone that did previous work in the crawl space failed to secure it properly and we had some kind of animal get in there and make it their home for a little while. It tore up some air ducts and left some urine and fecal matter on the vapor barrier.
I've called a few companies and no one offers a service to remediate the urine/fecal matter. HVAC people will fix the duct work, but they won't go under there until this matter is resolved. I've called 3 foundation specialist companies, but they won't go under there to replace the vapor barrier until the excrement is out. I'm too old (and too terrified) to crawl under there to clean it out myself, so it seems like I'm stuck...
Does anyone know of any company that will do something like this? Whatever animal it was is gone and I've secured the crawl space as best I can for now. Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
