How to use datasource1 to query datasource2 when both are set to Organizational Privacy Level?
I am looking for help with PowerQuery in Power BI. I have one datasource that has a list of Project_IDs. My first query pulls that in. I have a second query that is a call to a REST API. It needs to call it once for each ID found in the first query.
All works when PBI Desktop is set to Ignore Privacy Levels. Both are set to Organizational.
However when I set it to to use Privacy Levels or when I publish to the service where all gateway sources are set to Organizational, it gives errors about can't reference one datasoure when referencing another. "Added AssigneeKey references other queries or steps, so it may not directly access a data source."
No matter how I try to configure the queries or set the Privacy Levels I can't get it to work when I publish it to the service and do a refresh there. I need to be able to set up a scheduled refresh for this.
Know of any good tutorials or methods that would help with this?
