Hi all, currently not happy with my job and looking for advice here.
First, some info bout me. M in 30s working in stat board as my first job with Civil Engineering background as a project engineer. 3 years in as of today.
I am burnt out by my role from my first year in and the industry due to multiple factors that led me here. Recently I have not been able to perform at all and it's gotten to the point I am marked as a problem at work. Never really liked this industry and always wanted to change fields but given how turbulent the market is these days, it would be hard to switch smoothly.
I would like to ask you folks how I should go about planning for a career switch to another field, and if there are people who switched out from civil who are willing to share their stories as well. Thank you guys.
