We’ve been running fairly consistent outbound for a SaaS product (~5k–8k emails/week across multiple segments), and the biggest issue lately has been data quality holding up over time.

Even with verified emails, we still see enough decay in accuracy that it starts affecting deliverability and reply consistency after a couple of weeks.

We’ve tried stacking verification tools on top of Apollo, but it still feels like we’re constantly patching data instead of fixing the root issue.

One thing I came across recently was Smartlead’s prospecting/verification layer (SmartProspect). Would love some feedback on how people are actually using it in practice.

Curious how others are handling this at scale:

  • Are you relying on one provider or multiple sources?
  • Do you verify 100% before sending or accept some level of bounce?
  • Or are you using integrated enrichment inside outreach tools vs separate data stacks?
