Is our fig OK?
We have had this fig for 3 years and have had no issues with it. Recently, it has had 5 leaves turn yellow and we removed them. We noticed the dirt looked bad and was compacted so we removed the top couple of inches, broke up the deeper soil gently, added fresh soil on top, and gently "drilled" some soil down from the top. Gave it a good watering and waited. This is about 1.5 weeks later and we are seeing some new yellowing. The previous yellowing was on the back side that is more bare, the new is on the front facing the sun. We haven't been rotating it as we should. Does this seem like normal leaf drop or a sign of something more serious? Want to keep this tree healthy and around for a long time so any advice would be greatly appreciated.
