I started experimenting with some Minas Tirith ideas to go with my other minifig compatible stuff.

Obviously scaling is a factor here and for an example the Hall of Kings/tower hall is massive in comparison to both Helms Deep and Meduseld and also the tower of Ecthelion would have to be similar in size to Orthanc - which I was planning on making higher than the official set for my "ultimate MOD" of it I'll do in the future.

So the big question is just what to do with Minas Tirith to be cohesive with the rest of the models because the thing is that even if one does only do the most important 7th level of the city it will still be quite large for what ("minifig level") movie scenes it represents.

An impression of the smaller Helm's Deep MOC versions I'm currently working on in comparison to the already finished large MOC.

These will make up a range of versions for a lot of different space / budget requirements.

The three smallest versions (upgrade modules) are designed to not alter the original set, but to be simply added to it.
