I just love international releases, my favourites are Italian and Japanese releases. What are the most sought-after and the most valuable?

I just realized LaserDiscs were actually a thing when I was a kid… but in Europe I never saw them at all.

I’ve been looking into them lately and they feel like a parallel version of home media — where movies existed in this much cooler physical format. Almost like vinyl, but for films.

I keep seeing horror releases like The Thing and other 80s films on LaserDisc and it feels kind of unreal.

Is it still possible to connect a LaserDisc player to a modern TV? And for collectors here — what should I look for when buying a player off eBay today?
