van and heading to set locations to meet up with people attempting to sell their gold and offering them a value that is Roughly 30% undermarket value. I did a phone interview and it seems like a good opportunity but there were a couple redflags raised. first off the interviewer told me that i can expect to make between 20k-30k a month. They also told me that i need to register an LLC and open a bussines bank account, on top of that it seems like there is maybe an MML or pyramid type structure because they mentioned that i can bring people on and train them at which point i will recive a 6% cut of their profits. All of this seems very strange but i was told I get a $150 a day stipend in the beginning, so im willing to invest a little time to see if it smells like shit. It sounds too good to be true so im just wonder if anyone has come across a scam of this nature before. the company semms to opperate under gxc partners /Gold adams they say they are a finnish company.
I applied for a job with a company called GCX Partners. The role involves driving a "gold-buying van" to set locations to meet people selling gold, then offering them roughly 30% under market value.
I had a phone interview that raised several red flags. First, the interviewer claimed I could make $20,000–$30,000 per month. Second, they required me to register an LLC and open a business bank account. Finally, it resembles an MLM or pyramid scheme, as they mentioned I could recruit and train others for a 6% cut of their profits.
While the $150 daily stipend makes me willing to invest some time, the whole thing feels like it might be a scam. The company operates under the names GCX Partners or Gold Adams and claims to be Finnish. Has anyone encountered a scam like this before?
