Hot take: Deku or Shigaraki beats any viltrumite (in atmosphere)

So the evidence for this comes from the fact that viltrumites have pretty subpar striking strength. Like, they don't have a feat above city performed with just their muscles. They have lifting strength feats and feats performed by ramming something at super speed, but their punches aren't all that compared to country level Deku.

Secondly, viltrumites are shown to be hurt by the punches of each other, which would indicate that their durability also isn't all it's made out to be. MHA high tiers far outscale.

Due to statements from the databook, we surmise that viltrumites fight slower near planets to not cause damage and get a number: Mach 10 acceleration in seconds. This is below the top tiers of MHA who have feats in the hundreds or thousands of Mach, while Invincible characters would be barely hypersonic if their fights were taken at face value and rely on statements to get higher.

Now, *when accelerating*, viltrumites can reach extremely fast speeds that are better than anything in MHA and perform feats that are better. But they can't move omnidirectionally and have to turn and make a long charge to attack in this manner due to inertia. As Danger Sense gives a fixed lead time based on when the attack arrives, it doesn't matter how fast they go as this will simply make Danger Sense trigger earlier. Of course, they could eventually overwhelm with speed, but they would long since have been defeated.

The real killer is the mindset of a viltrumite. Basically all of them start the fight thinking it's going to be easy and both of their opponents go for the kill (or incapacitation in Deku's case) really fast. Even if the initial attack somehow failed, I really doubt they would immediately think that they need to accelerate to FTL speed and ram this guy to win. MHA high tiers do have the power to put them down in one blow.

Some common counterarguments:

>But Mark threw a baseball around the world he's stronger!

City block level feat

>But viltrumites can throw people into space they're stronger!

Large building level feat. Also both Deku and Shigaraki can get back to Earth even if they somehow got hit (either with Gearshift or rocket propulsion)

>But viltrumites destroyed a planet so they're stronger!

Under extremely specific circumstances. Like I said, a high-speed rush isn't going to hit if it even comes to their minds. Also I don't see Space Racer anywhere and we don't know how much of the work his literal super laser did so...

>But bloodlusted viltrumites win!

Bloodlusting them just means they get blitzed faster. Even if bloodlusted with perfect BIQ the opening maneuver by a viltrumite against an unknown opponent is always punch and kick, they would only switch to charging once they realise it won't work. And they will be long dead because MHA people were also bloodlusted.

>But Mark survived the sun so he's stronger!

Surviving in the sun is a very impressive heat resistance feat. Too bad neither Deku nor Shigaraki uses heat based attacks.

>But Mark moved a moon so he's stronger!

Same guy who was struggling to carry a normal spaceship btw. It's really easy to move things when there's no gravity or air resistance, not so much in an atmosphere. Plus, it has nothing to do with his striking strength because it's force over time.

>But MHA is only Mach 10!

We know that All Might suppresses himself in public places to not cause damage. So Prime All Might is Mach 10 while holding back to an unknown degree, which is neither here nor there.

>So you think Deku is multicontinental and MFTL? Shut up glazer!

No I said in the post he is country and MHS+

-----------------------------------------

TL:DR Viltrumite dura and striking strength aint allat, they need to accelerate to do real damage but they get blitzed first.

It is also possible that All Might and All For One could beat viltumites by blitzing but they don't have Danger Sense so I didn't include them in the title.
