A while ago I had a guppy that suddenly stopped swimming and just passed away. I assumed it was swim bladder and was quarantining the guppy but unfortunately it passed away?

I got a heater last night and put the temp to 26c and this morning I come home and see that another guppy has stopped swimming and probably passed.

I don’t know if it’s a sickness or if it’s a parasite but all my other fish are fine. I have 9 corys and one betta in the tank, that’s alll. It’s a 20gal tank, and he was fine yesterday.

These guppies were guppies my friends surrendered to me (endler guppies) and there were only four of them, all male. I was going to get some more guppies today to make them happy and whatnot but I didn’t get the chance to yet. I don’t understand. Could it be stress?

All water parameters are perfect. 0 ammonia, 0 nitrite, high range PH is around 7.8, and nitrates are under 40 ppm. Weekly water changes. Maybe it’s the food? I’ve been low on supplies so they’ve been eating my betta fish’s food for a bit.

I don’t know much about these guppies. I haven’t had time to study or look into their proper care. Please give me all the advice I can use to foster them properly
