Audio completely cuts out mid game every time I play tried everything, need help
My entire PC audio shuts off about 5 minutes into every Valorant session. Only happens in Valorant, no other games. Only way to fix it is a full PC restart.
My setup:
- AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D
- ASRock RX 9050 XT
- Gigabyte B850 Gaming X
- 32GB DDR5 6000MHz
- Focusrite Scarlett (USB audio interface) → Astro headset
- Windows 11
What I've already tried:
- Updated Gigabyte audio drivers from their website
- Updated AMD chipset drivers
- Disabled exclusive audio control
- Disabled audio enhancements
- Disabled Voice Clarity and Realtek APOs in Device Manager
- Full uninstall of Valorant, Vanguard, and reinstall multiple times
- Changed Focusrite USB port
- Updated Focusrite drivers
- Updated Valorant after latest patch — still happening
Issue started on a brand new PC (1 week old). Strongly suspect it's a Vanguard + Focusrite USB interface conflict but can't confirm. Has anyone solved this?
