Can some people enlighten me

Can yall give me "motivation" to loose weight? I'm around 180 lbs, used to be 130-140. Did some exercise a week ago to see how far I could go. I can walk the treadmill 5 days a week with an estimated 300 calorie burn + 500 calorie deficit. Hoping to go back to my normal weight by the end of this year (hopefully sooner).

That being said, I just dont feel like doing it. Can yall give me some experiences with weight loss that people forget about?

For example, after losing weight, did you face look "taller/slimmer"? Could you do really specific things you couldn't before? What undervalued body areas also change? Disease prevention stats? Just tell me stuff yalll experienced after weight loss that nobody really talks about.

Just "loosing weight" is not enought for me to visualize true change ig and worthwhileness, and I want to actually see the perks in store.

Kind of nervous of the male dominant major im pursuing already so nervous how the engineering Village is. Any experiences with the people there? WISE? Not really asking about academics, instead for social stuff.

Are the guys intolerant or downright disrespectful to the girls? Does WISE prefer non engineering girls in terms of friend groups?
