I use this camera for street and vacation photography. I used to take my X100V to the beach until eventually sand got into the on/off switch and jammed it up so I literally couldn't turn the camera on. Okay, whatever. My fault I guess. I was going to send it in for repairs but opted to shelf it and put that money towards an X100VI (no I won't give you the X100V, I'll get it repaired eventually).
Anyway, I LOVE the X100VI. I just came back from a music festival and took some of the best pictures of my life. But even with being careful and keeping it off the ground, some fucking dirt has worked its way into the on/off mechanism again and now is gumming it up. It still works but jesus christ why does this otherwise perfect camera have to have this stupid achilles heal? Literally every other feature of both my cameras, even the paint, remains unscathed. Yet I'm on the verge of breaking both because they wanted to be clever with what could've been another regular button.
