Michael Myers tattoo is by me, healed 1 year.

Just looking for general constructive criticism in the layout of this Koi fish, we did the outer forearm last time and now looking to do the inner forearm for a sleeve, I only have the linework for the koi and no detail/back ground just yet.

The pink highlighted area is a tattoo he has from a previous artist that means a lot to him and he does not want to cover it at all so just working around it.

Any suggestions / tips / advice is greatly appreciated!
