Hi all! I’m a 35F attempting my first 30 day fast. The most I’ve done before is probably around 80 hours. Currently at 83 hours and feel good, occasionally hungry but barely.

Problem: I’m in the middle of an incredibly stressful period at work. Barely sleeping (not due to fast, I’m actually quite exhausted) but because I’m working more/constantly thinking about what I need to get done. I don’t typically drink coffee but may drink some black coffee during the fast to be more alert/focused during this stressful period.

As much as I want to drop weight quickly and get the benefits of autophagy, I’m also paranoid about overly stressing out my body. This is would be first lengthy fast, I am a sugar addict, I haven’t started taking electrolytes yet but will today. I have been tasting a salty seasoning for some salt and for some flavor.

Has anyone dealt with this before? Is it advised to not fast when you’re stressed?
