ECS
-Paid 5 week research internship under a professor at UGA on agriculture/environmental science (this summer)
-Intern at local environmental/heritage center at their reptile room (lowk a glorified volunteer but hey the application said internship, 100+ hours)
-Marching band 4 years, next year i'll be section leader
-District honor band all 3 years
-Secretary of environmental club, next yr will be president, plan to install school wide paper recycling
-Tutor on schoolhouse, less than 10 hours rn but plan on doing a lot more
-Volunteered a few times at a local college's bird lab, basically i helped them catch birds and record data on them
-Cat shelter volunteer
-Worked at a matcha shop summers of 9 and 10th grade
Awards
-AP scholar with honor (prob will be w/ distinction next year)
-Scholastic gold key (in 9th grade tho then i quit art)
-1st place Reflections art contest in my district (with the same piece that won gold key)
-Georgia certificate of merit (given to juniors in the top 10% of their class i think)
Im also applying to UGA & Emory (prolly a diff major for both) and some safeties like GSU. What are some other reaches I could apply to?
