A friend of my housemate gave her boxes of cake mix that expired 2 years ago.

Would this be something you would eat?

Edit: Y'all are awesome with your responses. Please note it was a best buy date not an expired date. MY BAD!! But even expired my housemate, that is really good at cooking and baking, will not use it if it smells bad. Only reason she's dong this is I can't bake worth a damn.
