KEF LS50 Wireless ii constant disconnect
Hi after a brief honeymoon period I've been having absolute nightmare with the KEF LSII wireless. Constant disconnects. I've reset it multiple times. Set it up on a 5ghz network that didn't work. Now connected to a dedicated 2.4ghz band and still can't be found in the app to turn on. If I turn it on manually on the touch panel I can connect via chromecast (but it's compressed audio only) and even then it stops playing sound.
I'm honestly at my wits end and classically days out of the returns period. Peter tyson have offered to collect it but won't refund it has to be sent to kef for repair. My concern here is it could be away for months and the diagnosis inconclusive and they'll blame my WiFi settings/ router... As is the issue with WiFi enabled devices. For the record I have sonos surround sound system that works flawlessly I know my WiFi is fine deco75 pro mesh WiFi)
Cut a long story short is it worth sending for repair or should I call it quits and buy something like a wiim ultra and connect via coaxial? Wanted to I ow other people's experiences.
