Metadata Not Refreshing
I'll start by saying that I am very savvy with Plex and have been using it since way back when you had to install it through Terminal. But every now and then, something just acts weird and I have trouble figuring out why.
I recently took all series that are video podcasts out of my main TV library and moved them into a new TV PODCASTS library. All the series have TVDB pages and all the series are matched to their correct TVDB series.
My issue is that some of the series are listing their episodes that should have episode names as "Episode 1, Episode 2, Episode 3" and so on. Only some of the series though. I have done the Plex Dance twice, I have deleted and recreated the new TV PODCAST library, and I have 'fixed match' (even thought they are all matched correctly, the series posters and descriptions are all correct) and I have refreshed metadata multiple times.
Let me add that when all these series were in my main TV library, they all had correct metadata. I will also add, that when I make a new episode entry, when a new podcast episode is released, into TVDB and add that new episode file to my library, the metadata doesn't update for a few days i.e. it will say "Episode 43" or whatever episode number it is, but I always figured that had something to do with how TVDB operates with new entries.
