I'm not even joking, I bought a pixel 10 on ebay that claimed to be unlocked, yet when I came to activate it, it was locked with verizon - I call verizon and they let me know that whoever owned the phone never fully paid it off, and to any person, they would have just given up considering carrier locked phone are basically bricks

but OEM unlock was still enabled and I tried to install graphene, and it worked
I came back to my carrier and they were able to activate an eSIM,

does anyone care to explain how this is possible?
