While I've always loved my Ranga pens, I've never liked the Jowo nibs with which they came. I've tried several different nibs in the Jowo housings, to varying degrees of success, but for someone who likes a very very fine line, I found myself constantly looking for something better.

The Hongdian Dragon EF nib is bouncy, super fine, and pleasing to my eye. While its sister nib (the soft Chinese knot) works well, this one ticks all the boxes for me.

Anyone else have personal success stories with nib swaps into Jowo housings?

Grabbed this "homage" to the Pilot 845. Looks great except for the fact the black threading parts can be seen through the green plastic. TBF, the vendor pics did not try to hide this. It's basically the plastic version of the "Big Metal Pen" that came out in 2 sizes before this version.

The nib is a completely new one for me. I've never come across one that looks like this. And, I've been unable to figure out what the Chinese characters say. Anybody know? It writes well, and that's about all I know.
