How does an 8mm Miami Cuban link chain look on me?

I'm looking to get my first Miami Cuban link chain (8mm, 24") from Garcia's Jewelry.

Before placing an order, I decided to get a cheap chain from Amazon first, just to see how it would look on me. For reference, I am 6'0", 205lbs, with a 16" neck.

What do you guys think?

Ps.

Sorry for the any weird blurs, my bathroom mirror is the biggest mirror I have at home.

I’m 45, and I’ve already lived through the “monthly payment” mindset. Car loans, financed gadgets, buy-now-pay-later — all of it. For years I thought I was doing fine because I could “afford” everything on paper.

I wasn’t. I was just broke with nicer stuff.

That’s what financing really does — it lets you live above your means while convincing you you’re not. You’re not making something affordable, you’re just spreading out the pain and calling it responsible.

Nobody wants to hear it, but if you actually had the money, you wouldn’t need the payment plan.

The shift for me was simple: if I can’t buy it outright, I don’t buy it. That’s when my finances actually changed. That’s when I started building real wealth instead of just maintaining appearances.

Most people aren’t using debt strategically — they’re using it to pretend they’re further ahead than they are.

If that bothers you, it probably should.
