I'm trying to identify an old American animated cartoon, probably from the late 50s or 60s, that was broadcast in Spain on TVE. The main character was a human man, around 50-60 years old, who lived alone (farmer or sheriff type). Every episode he sang a catchy, upbeat song with "Oh Oh Oh" — possibly with a banjo. The show was in black and white. It aired around the same time as a military/army barracks cartoon (possibly Beetle Bailey). Anyone know what this could be?
