Stock was manufactured in Middletown by R JOHNSON - There is an inspector stamp “CG” for Calven Gay Evans, a civilian ordnance inspector in CT who was active during the production period of these independent arms manufacturers.

Really appreciate any thoughts out there as flintlocks are way above my pay grade! Thanks!

This has been handed down as a relic through several generations. This is the condition it was in when it came my way. Would appreciate any info on the maker and model and what kind of hardware needs to be gotten (and where it can found) to bring her back to her glory. Sorry for all the asks!
