Im currently on a debug map trying to design a uranium enrichment farm using some beetas, while at the same time safe for both the bees and the dupes (just a challenge). It is still a work in progress. My idea is that every 5 cycles or so, i flood the place with CO2 (500 kg total, 5 beetas per hive alive at once x 4 x 100 g/s x 250s). Hopefully 250s is enough for my dupes to get to scoop up the goods (not sure if lights help, but i put them there for now and havent tested speed yet).
ANYWAYS, im experiencing smth weird, the beetas keep going in a limbo between sleeping and not sleeping. In the second image, that "sleeping" status keeps coming away and back. I tried reloading but still keeps happening. My CO2 therefore isnt getting consumed and the bees just freeze in place. I thought maybe the debug mode bugged it, but i placed a bee tiny below the setup and it does sleep fine with CO2. Anyone know what is happening here? Thanks in advance
SOLVED: turns out you need a free tile for the beetas to sleep in!
