I am working on polishing my granite countertop near the sink. I used mb-20 polishing paste and a DA right-angle polisher on speeds 1-3. The picture with the small cracks is what it looks like now. For reference, I have also included a picture of another section.

Have I ruined my countertop? Is there anything I can do to fix it?
