My turn! Onederland!

I did it! 140 lbs. gone since November 2024!

I feel like a new person. I’ve loved buying new clothes and feeling better about how I look. But I’m most thankful for my increased mobility. I used to walk regularly, but an ankle surgery, followed by a significant weight gain made getting around so hard. I was embarrassed by not only how I looked but also by how hard it was to walk up stairs or walk short distances. My son plays hockey, and my husband would drop me at the door before parking because it was too hard for me to walk from the parking lot. He doesn’t even ask me if I want to be dropped off anymore. We were at a game not too long ago, and his grandpa was there. My husband took his grandpa to the elevator, and I told them I was taking the stairs and would meet them up top. It felt so good. I’m walking three times a week now. And my mile time keeps improving. I also lift weights three times a week.

If you made it this far, thanks for reading! I just wanted to share my excitement with a group that gets it.

You all have been so helpful to me on my journey. Thanks to all of you for sharing your tips and tricks and experiences along the way. 💜
