Resigning from remote job
I have been with the company for couple of years but recently they started moved me to a different department and started adding a lot of responsibilities to the point where it feels like I have no life and no way to deal with it as everyone in this department works extra hard and always fall sick. It's a remote job and the pay is really good. However, I don't think I will be able to perform well through the end of the year as I will be burnt out. So, I have been wanting to get out on my terms.
I want to get into AI so I am thinking of quitting in a few months (I have good savings) and taking a break for 4-6 months and then apply for roles again.
Thoughts?
