Tonight, I read u/thejoggler44 ‘s comment:

“In my testing, every 3-2 trump/suit distribution is better to call than to pass with the exception of holding next cards. Of course score may affect this too.”

Did I read that correctly? I had to try it. LOL. Was not expecting this result.

As we enter Season 6, we’ve been looking back and pulling old posts from the beginning of the Reddit Euchre League, from then until now. ➡️

It all started in 2024 with u/MN14Y spearheading our first event, bringing 16 Redditors together. (funny pic attached)

From there, we held monthly tournaments, Casual Nights, and weekly league play!

Our hope is to grow the game, increase participation, knowledge and skill, and to develop friendships along the way!

Playing my best suit with nothing to call R2. While both black aces provide some defense to a dealer pass and S1 call, I still order these hand-types up. Do you?

I’m dealer and a J turns up. I have no trump.

S2 frog orders up 10c to S4 frog (me) who holds: L10c Ad AJh.

S1 POV (point of view) leads trump for a Buckeye Blindside.

S2 takes it with the R, then leads back an As.

If you’re S4, do you throw off on the 2nd St spades lead? Or do you trump in and lead back one of your Aces?

Is this an exception to the rule, or an incorrect play?
