Duplicate VM. How to remove?

Somehow I wound up with a duplicate copy of a VM. This happened once before, and when I deleted the dup, my disk image got deleted with it, so I am worried to repeat the same mistake.

Is there a way to remove the duplicate safely? Do I have to copy the image file and import it into a new VM? Should I clone the VM? I'm right in the middle of an LFS build, so I hope it can be done without stopping the VM.

I used it a while ago, but I can't remember the name. It would show you the rustc error messages in vim as you made them. It runs under Plug.
