Hello!! I just bought my first gaming PC and its supposed to arrive in a few days. I bought it used from Jawa and got an excellent deal on it! The PC supposedly comes with Linux Mint installed and at first I had no idea what that was. I talked with my more tech savvy friends about it and I got very mixed opinions on Linux. I've only ever had Windows 10/11 and have used the occasional apple system, so I'm a little intimidated by Linux- especially as a newbie. I mostly intend to use the desktop for cozy gaming (modding the crap out of Stardew and the Sims4) and schoolwork.

What should I expect when I boot this thing up? Will she do me well or am I better off installing Windows? Thank you for any ideas you might have! 🩷🫶
