Just finished sorting out the white wire issue on the newer 8gpm, then the 3 year I'd machine started doing the same in the middle of our 2nd job today. Walked over to check it out, then it backfired and blew the muffler apart, sending something flying into the pupil of my right eye. Yes, I was wearing glasses, it hit my cheek, bounced up and off my glasses, and into my eye. Urgent care doc dug it out, said vision will return to normal in a few days, but holy hell is it scary thinking how a random backfire could wreck your vision in a split second.
Now I have to order a wiring harness AND a new muffler, on top of the medical visit. This is the most Monday-ish Tuesday I've ever had. Don't ask about the belt guard, it's in the work truck that decided to break down (fuel pump) on the busiest day so far.
