I have this pink melaleuca originally bought for landscaping but I decided to make it a bonsai instead. Obviously a long way to go - I have to make the bare trunks backbud first, but looking for advice on long term direction. I think I have a general idea how I want it to look (the green triangle) but struggling to envision its detailed path to get there, especially picking the main trunk. I would love to make branch 2 main but it seems to lack taper and ... interests. Thoughts on how to approach this? If you can see other possible styles I'd love to hear them as well.
