I’m a new player and last night I learned that you can place containers on the same platform as a machine it will automatically load the machine (and anything open spot on that machine).
I thought to my self great!!! I don’t have use arms for everything like factorio.
But my joy fell away when I discovered that that is where my logistic chain will stop. Storage containers cannot be filled and emptied at the same time. So you cannot have an arm, removing said item from a storage container attached to a machine. Because as we know now, storage containers have to have their output, turned off to accept material in.
Am I missing something here? Is there another step or another thing that I unlock that allows the logistic chain to keep moving? Or with doing the containers on a shared platform, is there no way to keep the flow of material out of the container?
