I see no difference.
I have learned that my cat doesn’t like when we show him stuffies. He turns into a Moblin on sight.

Hi all, I’m not looking for quick fixes or medical advice here but if anyone has any book or research recommendations, personal experiences, or advice about next steps, I would appreciate some direction so so much.
I was recently diagnosed with PCOS and am very much hyper mobile. I have a lot of low range from the PCOS and whistles, natural dexterity, and am unusually good at rapidly changing registers from the hyper mobility (or so I’ve been told). I rely heavily on SOVT exercises for proper closure but recently I’ve been having a flare of my PCOS symptoms and have been getting hoarse even after 10 minutes of SOVT work. I have been breaking up my vocal practice into small intervals as well as incorporating vocal rest and a nebulizer. I unfortunately have multiple gigs lined up as well as recording dates for my album.
Has anyone had experience with this or resources that I can read? I work with a vocal therapist but am kind of at a loss- the exercises meant to help me still cause hoarseness that I never experienced in my early 20’s/late teens when I had no assistance from vocal therapy. Right now my tentative plan is to see an ENT to make sure my vocal folds are healthy and go from there but I’m so devastated that I am unable to maintain my regular practice and concerned about my ability to consistently perform in the coming month.! Please be nice if you can, I am incredibly sad about this.
TLDR- I have PCOS and hypermobility. I rely on SOVT to manage their effects on my singing but am experiencing hoarseness afterwards. Advice on next steps to take or resources to read would be super helpful!
