What can I do to make crossing the road safer for the families of killdeer and geese in my neighborhood?

(Pics not mine, I just find people don't interact with plain text posts)

So, in my suburb neighborhood (southern Ontario), there's a stormwater drain which attracts a lot of aquatic birds. So far, we have 3 Canada geese families with a total of 13 goslings, and a killdeer mama with 2 chicks.

There's a road beside the pond, and there's only two stop signs, both of which aren't near the pond. And to make matters worse, people *love* to speed down that road.

I've seen them cross before, and it's scary, a lot of drivers don't slow down at all, even for the adult geese! I do try to help them cross the road when I see them, but I can't be there all the time.

I've was thinking of maybe putting wildlife crossing signs or speed bumps or something in that area, so I reached out to my city's environmental service manager, who then reached out to the animal and wildlife manager, who then reached out to the parks manager, who then reached out to the roads and transportation manager....

I have a feeling it's going to take a really long time for anything to actually get done, *if* something ever gets done.

In the meanwhile, is there something else I can do to make crossing the road safer for them? I'm looking for any ideas, it scares me seeing them try to cross.

How can I make the best out of a noisy camera and lens?

I have a Canon EOS Rebel T5 and a 75-300mm lens hand-me-down. I'm saving up to upgrade, but I'm a broke student so that's taking a while lol.

In the meantime, how can I make the best out of my current gear? My camera gets noisy from ISO 800 and my lens has crazy chromatic aberration and fringe, and sometimes editing isn't enough to fix it, especially since I do bird photography and want to keep feather details :-(

I get what an X-Wing is, but I struggle so much to actually identify them in a puzzle, and I'm still confused with Sudoku Coach's X-Wing practice.

How do you know which 8 fits for the X-Wing?? Why is it those ones in particular and not R7C4 and R7C7? How do you know to eliminate those? I'm just confuzzled 😭😭

So I know my guys are expecting, and one was burrowed for a couple days, so I assumed he laid eggs so I dug and didn't find any. But I found this on a stick in the middle of the air? I thought it might be a test egg, but it looks like a tiny shell?? My other eggnant snail hasn't burrowed yet, he's been sleeping in visible areas so I know he hasn't laid them. What's happening here??
