My son has a Gorgon 2wd that he got for Christmas. We have a S155 charger that I bought last month. My issue is I already had a G1 Spektrum smart battery go bad by over discharging while stored and killing one cell. (Or the balance lead has an issue).

Can I use non Spektrum batteries with an adapter to the IC3 plug or am I stuck with the Spektrum system? I would love to be able to buy multiple batteries for the price of one smart battery to allow us to run longer.
