Curious as to what other DMs are doing for this. I don’t think my players are handling this poorly per se, it’s more of this is a new situation for me and trying to figure out how to approach it.

Thankfully the mentality is 100% “it’s the characters not the people controlling them” so that’s good at least. And so far nothing has crossed the line. I’ve got the classic “fade to black” at the ready just in case, but mostly wondering how other DMs incorporate this for the players who want it.
