Hi, fan fam. This sub has been pretty helpful, so thanks.

We want to improve airflow in our tiny, old apartment in the summer.
We can't install an AC and don't really need one 90% of the time.
We want to increase airflow, make the day/night temperature more stable, cool things down when it gets hot, and reduce dampness inside. There is no central heating/air.

This summer, we have:
One of these Entreeair fans (recommended on this sub). I could probably get a second one if people think it's worth it.

We also got 2 lasko 2521 adjustable height oscillating pedestal fans (also recommended on this sub).

We also have a tabletop fan with a HEPA filter that we sometimes use on the floor.

Some notes:
Our place is old and tends to be too warm in late afternoon and night, and too cool in the morning.
When it rains, which is almost daily, it gets colder and stays cold for too long. When the sun comes in the long window in mid to late afternoon, it heats up and stays too hot for too long. The building insulation.....well, it also contributes to this issue.

The airflow in the building has wall/floor gaps that let smells from other apartments come into ours a lot of the time.
Also, the neighbors across the alleyway smoke daily at night in the summer, and the smell comes into the bedroom window which is right where I sleep with my CPAP, and my lizard terrarium is, but the smell never seems to leave the bedroom.

Most of the time we keep the curtains closed for privacy/light/temp control as we are directly at street level. All the windows in Bedroom/Living area are covered with insulated blackout curtains for temp/heat/light control but that also stops air from getting in, and we also like to let our cat sit on the bedroom/living room windowsill in summer. The kitchen windows have sheer curtains but the cat is not allowed on the kitchen windowsill.

There are three double-hung windows that open up only halfway (white with black borders).
The other windows (grey color) do not open.

The hatched areas are grated wall vents near the ceiling in the bathroom and kitchen walls that are both useless and gross.
There is no vent fan in the bathroom and there is no vent hood in the kitchen, nor is there a place to put one, or hook one up to electricity, and our landlord won't let us anyway.

There is limited floor space to put things without tripping on cords, etc.
We also have limited places to plug in appliances.
The black circle is a plug where we can plug in the EntreeAir fan (plug is up near ceiling so cord will reach either bathroom or kitchen doorway ok).

Which doorway should I hang the EntreeAir in?
Right now I can hang it in the bathroom doorway or the kitchen doorway. I am leaning toward the kitchen doorway since there is no actual door in the way, but it would work in either doorway.
Which direction should the EntreeAir be pointed for best air exchange?

Where should we put the LASKOs for best air flow?
Right now the big stars are where the Lasko fans probably will go for foot traffic/electrical plug reasons, unless I get a better idea from this thread. They do oscillate, but is there a "best" way we should face them?

We may/may not use the HEPA fan in the living room under the long window wall when it gets really hot (small star).

We usually run the fans all day every day in summer once it hits about 78-80 deg F.

Any suggestions welcome.
Thanks!
