The recent CN story implied that Priestess' actions so far was partly a test to see if the Doctor and Rhodes Island are able to actually solve the issue of the Observers. and that more importantly they are already close enough that an solution is needed urgently
With how they were hyped up as unspeakable cosmic horrors and destroyers of worlds with killcounts so high it'd make Thanos cringe, and that one of said victims was a civilization that was borderline godlike. It has me wondering how exactly do they plan on making sure Terra is spared from certain annihilation in a way that isn't turning everyone into data crystals and hoping the Observers just pass Terra?
Outright defeating them is possible but that would assume Terra is a JRPG setting and not a cosmic horror setting (there is a difference), and would likely stretch suspension of disbelief by...a lot. Diplomacy is also a technically possible option, but if they are the imcompreihensiable and unspeakable horrors straight out of the pages of Lovecraft we think they are than that kind of correspondence would be arduous at best and impossible at worse.
Basically is there any feasible way for Terra to be saved from certain doom with what is known so far?
