As a controller user, why does it have to take 6 inputs after pausing to open the grimoire? Either have select open it on its own or after pausing.

Accidentally started an infinite combo of sorts with garlic guy and wand girl. Was trying to increase xp gain and I summoned the purple reaper. Play some more cards an summoned a second! I'm legit scared to continue an summon more. What am I supposed to do?
