This theater in southern Albania was built by the Greeks and then rebuilt and expanded under roman occupation. If you ever find yourself in southern Albania, I highly recommend you pay this ancient city a visit.
The theater of Butrint in southern Albania was originally constructed by the Greeks and later reconstructed and expanded by the Romans. Butrint is a fascinating site and well worth a visit if you are in Albania. It is large and makes for great exploring!
