I use this beading mat constantly to make chainmail fidgets, and it gets dirty/no longer tacky after making 1-2. I got tired of rinsing it because it didn't get everything off and it barely worked. (This is my third mat, I accidentally ruined the first two with soap, do NOT use soap on these).

All of that aside, I thought I would try a makeup wipe, and it worked amazingly. It feels more tacky than when I bought it! The wipe was silver with all the metal or whatever got stuck on it.

I used the Up&Up sensitive makeup removal wipes from Target, but I wouldn't be surprised if others worked. Just spot test of course.

And finally, it's covered up in the photo but this is a Bead Smith mat. I got mine on Amazon.
