I have been using ai tools since very beginning like 2023
The improvement is crazy since then. Generally in corporate especially tech if you ask seniors regarding any codebase code or design wise they get super pissed like either they will tell you half or just tell you something wrong which is obvious because they also have their life and all.
With claude I can use the whole codebase spanning across multiple repos to get a high level design view and I can ask multiple questions it doesn't matter obviously ( this needs more ram to have it in context). I can't imagine a world where claude doesn't exist.
In my company I am not hearing any documentation guys getting hired because claude can do better with more precision and detail. This will easily save almost 5 percent of workforce across whole corporation. When I got convinced was , I work on a board technology which has got swappable fans. Everytime we needed to test some fan feature related to removing and inserting one guy had to go to lab . My team tried to create a tool to simulate this behaviour and you guys will not believe even the architect was like this thing is so cool.
So all in all we are moving towards a future with better tech and more unemployment with more govt handouts . People who will be part of this supply chain will get rich while the rest of the peasants (including overrated buffet followers) will be left crying dot com and bubble.
