Applying sketch onto round surface
I’m trying to apply a sketch onto a curved (round) surface, but SolidWorks won’t let me use the “Wrap” feature even though I’ve already selected the sketch.
How can I get this to work properly?

Hi everyone,
I’m a complete beginner in SolidWorks and I’m trying to bend a cylinder by 90°. I’ve tried using sketches and reference geometry, but I keep getting stuck and I’m not really sure what the correct workflow is.
I also attempted to use a sweep, but I got lost when it came to choosing or creating the right planes and setting up the path. I’m feeling a bit overwhelmed and would really appreciate some guidance on the proper way to create a 90° bend, whether that’s using sweep, loft, or any other recommended method.
Thank you in advance!
