Leaking tub spout even after replacement? What am I missing
So I put a new shower head, tub spout, and shower handle (turn on thing) a few months ago. It leaked a little before. But the leaking has got really bad over the last 2 months.
I thought maybe it was the shower turn on lever because it has an option to switch from tub to shower (no one uses the bath function). Or I thought maybe it was the cartridge or valve behind it?
Other posts on here though make it sounds as though if it's only coming from the tub spout it's not either of those and would be something with the spout?
It's one of those simple clockwise spin on spouts and nothing seemed wrong with the installation that's why I figured it was not that.
Any insight on what to do? If people think it's the valve I'll just call a plumber I am not doing that. If it's a cartridge or people think the spout I am willing to tackle it.
I read a bunch of other similar posts here and I felt like those answers either did not make sense to me or did not work.
